Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, (or SEER), is a measurement of how much energy and money your new air conditioner will use over the course a the year. The higher the SEER rating, the more efficient and economical your cooling system will be.
SEER Rating Categories
- Entry level efficiency: 13-16 SEER
- Mid-efficiency: 16-18 SEER
- High efficiency: 20+ SEER
